What’s The Good Word?

The Good Word Media is a global, non profit, multi-media publication with advertisers in 30 countries. THE GOOD WORD is one man’s attempt to make a difference in the world.  I believe there is enough misery in the world, and our  minds need a breath of fresh air.  If you like what you see, please share with a friend.  If you are looking for a new career direction in life, please contact Steve Schappert.   Learn more at http://TheGoodWord.Me

My Dad

My Dad

Kind
Caring
Intelligent
Precise
Supportive
Loving
Meticulous

Respectful and respected
The greatest man I have ever known
Always working hard for the greater good

My hero
An example for all
Where ever I go people remind me
what a great man my father is
I hope to be able to leave the same gift for my children

We are different yet we are the same
We approach things from different places
Yet our goal is the same
To do good
Help others
Leave the world a better place

Thank you for being my mentor

I BELIEVE

In the power of good and evil

I choose good

I believe in leaving the world a better place

I will sacrifice for my childrenI believe an idea can change the world

I am not afraid To take a stand, lead the way, sacrifice, endure hardship

I believe you can do well by doing goodBy helping others you help yourself

My failures and sacrifices will make it easier for others

As the needs of others become as important as the needs of the individual, the world gains the ability to change like never before.

MOTHER AND SON

to a son she is the universe
the beautiful stranger that walks with grace
mother, child and love are one
the sun shimmers on her face

hopes and dreams a future to make
she nourishes body and soul
always there to offer support
guidance, strength and courage without control

she is so much more
more than we can see
she will give her all to be the core
the core of everything he will be

REFLECTION

a time of reflection
looking forward, looking back
trying to make sense of it all
breathing deep to avoid an attack

the world is not a perfect place
no rhymes and no reasons
constantly changing
more than the seasons

our strength comes from within
time is endless yet our time here is short
all we have learned from those we have loved
stays with us forever in mind and heart

our memories are but moments
just moments in time
hold them dear
and life is sublime

somewhere the sun is shining
the clouds not in sight
laughter can be heard
and the outlook is bright

if you love yourself
the sky will always be blue
come what may
you’ll know what to do
